DMM Eclipse Screwgate

Quantity:

CATALOG SUSPENDED
The Eclipse screwgate from the classic range is a hot forged, fully anodised and very strong locking carabiner with a large internal capacity. It is a perfect all-rounder; big enough to handle lots of rope when used for rigging and yet light enough for carrying up routes to protect belays.

The biner is constructed entirely from 7000 series aluminium. We use a new premium alloy in the body to increase strength and 7075 on the gate and barrel. Although it costs more to use thick 7075 on the barrel it provide a much higher safety reserve when leverage is applied across the gate.

A twin pronged device designed to both remove stuck wires and cams It can also be used to help out with the sandwiches.

Top tip: Tie a small loop of 3mm/4mm accessory cord through the hole near the hooks and use the to attach the nutter to your racking biner. This stops the hooks constantly tangling with your gear.

Left tabDMM Eclipse Wire Quickdraw 12cmRight tab
DMM Eclipse Wire Quickdraw 12cm

Quantity:

CATALOG SUSPENDED
The Eclipse is our largest non-locking biner and the wire gate option gives an even greater gate opening. This quickdraw is really at home on your winter climbing rack, letting you clip as fast and as easily as if you were at the climbing wall.

The extra size means it is still easy to use when wearing gloves or mitts and with the wire gate it is still light and also less likely to freeze shut than solid gate biners.

The large gate open distance makes clipping a breeze and the increased basket means plenty of room for racking gear.

The standard DMM touches are still there; the shrouded nose, the rope groove in the basket the anodised finish and the amazing 9Kn gate open strength.

DMM Wallnuts

There are lots of nuts on the market, but Wallnuts are amongst the best because of their design, the materials that they are made from and the attention to detail that goes into their manufacture.

The end result is that the Wallnuts give secure placements even in difficult situations and their quality means that they will do this time after time, route after route.

Pumped and scared the last thing you need is to be fighting in a basic, square nut that won't seat properly or worse, won't place at all because the wire is too floppy to allow an accurate placement.

DMM 4CU - Four Camming Units

Size:

Quantity:

CATALOG SUSPENDED
The DMM 4CU's light weight is a noticeable advantage when packing in or climbing with a full rack. The way we see it, an average 20% weight saving means that the climber can "sew up cracks" with a much lighter rack. Another way of looking at it is that climbers can place 20% more cams, feel much more secure, and still come out even on the weight. Less weight with more protection ... who wouldn't love that?
Each cam is rated to 14 kN in the active, working position with the quick release sling doubled, and 12 kN with sling fully extended. The passive strength of the cams, resting on their stops, is 10 kN.

Self-braking belay device. Device for belaying a leader or a second and for single rope descents.

Self-braking system: if the rope suddenly comes under tension (e.g. in a fall), the cam pivots to pinch the rope, thus helping the belayer stop the climber's fall.
Usage is similar to that of conventional belay devices:
giving/taking slack is done by using both hands to slide the rope through the device,
falls are held by holding the free end of the rope, for lowering and rappelling, the rate of descent is controlled by the hand holding the free end of the rope (the rope is released with the handle)
